Its built-in PIR sensor detects movement while an integrated LUX sensor measures ambient brightness, allowing compatible automations to respond according to both activity and lighting conditions.

Adjust the motion sensitivity to suit different spaces and configure the light sensor for dark, twilight, or bright conditions. Use the sensor in hallways to activate lighting when someone passes, in living spaces to trigger scenes when the room becomes dim, or near entryways to activate compatible lighting or notifications when motion is detected.

Shelly BLU Motion ZB features Zigbee 3.0 and Bluetooth 5 LE connectivity with BTHome support. It works with compatible Zigbee 3.0 hubs, Shelly Smart Control, Home Assistant, and compatible Shelly Plus, Pro, Gen3, and Gen4 devices.

The compact sensor runs on one included CR2477 battery with up to 5 years of battery life. Included double-sided adhesive provides easy, tool-free placement without wiring or drilling. AES encryption in CCM mode helps provide secure device communication.
