Versatile Clamp Meter for AC Current, Accurate AC/DC Voltage, Diode, Resistance

Neoteck digital clamp meter is a highly versatile tool, capable of measuring AC current, AC/DC voltage, resistance, and diode functionality. With auto-ranging, NCV detection, and clamp measuring capabilities for troubleshooting electrical issues safely in various applications.
Reasons for Inaccurate AC Current Measurement
High Precision with Auto-Ranging for Accurate Readings

This clamp meter provides precise measurements with 4000 counts of auto-ranging, automatically selecting the appropriate decimal point for reliable AC/DC voltage, resistance, and AC current detection. Featuring True RMS (TRMS), it ensures accurate results without the need for manual adjustments.
Clamp Jaw Measures Up to 26mm for Safe, Non-Invasive Current Measurement!
The 26mm wide clamp jaw enables capable of precise sensingeven with small currents (lA). This feature is effective for use on mains cables, high current loads in vehicles, and any electrical work where cutting the wire is impractical or unsafe, ensuring a non-invasive measurement.
Built-In Flashlight and Backlit LCD Display for Easy Operation
With a security grade of CAT III 600V,Neoteck digital clamp meter has overload protection and short circuit protection functions, which can protect your safety and extend the service life of the instrument
What should I do before using a clamp meter to avoid damaging it?
Estimate current first. If you are not sure, start with the highest range, then switch to a lower range for a more accurate reading. Never measure large current on a small range – it can damage the meter.
Why can't I measure AC current?
Clamp only one wire – Never clamp both live and neutral together, or their currents will cancel out and the reading will be zero.
Why is my clamp meter still showing no reading even though I clamped only one wire?
Because that "single wire" might still contain both live and neutral inside (like a power cord). Their currents cancel out. To get a reading, you must clamp onto one of the phase wires.
What should I do if the reading is not accurate when measuring a small current?
If the current is too small for your clamp meter, try this trick:Wrap the same wire around the clamp several times (e.g., 5 or 10 turns). Then divide the reading on the display by the number of turns.
How do I test voltage?
Voltage is not measured with the clamp. You must use the test leads (red and black probes).

Neoteck digital clamp meter is a highly versatile tool, capable of measuring AC current, AC/DC voltage, resistance, and diode functionality. With auto-ranging, NCV detection, and clamp measuring capabilities for troubleshooting electrical issues safely in various applications.
Reasons for Inaccurate AC Current Measurement
| Both wires clamped together | If you clamp both the live and neutral wires, their currents cancel out, giving a near-zero reading. Always clamp only one wire. |
|---|---|
| Wire not centered | The wire should be placed in the middle of the clamp opening. Off-center placement reduces accuracy. |
| Clamp not fully closed | Dirt or a loose hinge can cause a gap, giving weak readings. Close the clamp tightly. If you hear a noise, open and close it again. If the noise stays, clean the dirty surfaces. |
| Wrong range selected | If the manual range is set too high (e.g., 200A for a 0.5A current), the reading may appear very low or inaccurate. Use auto-range or select a lower range. |
| Current is too small | Some clamp meters have poor resolution at low currents (e.g., below 0.1A). Try wrapping the wire around the clamp several times and divide the reading by the number of wraps. |
| Low battery | A weak battery can cause erratic or incorrect readings. Replace the battery if needed. |
| Nearby conductors cause error | Strong magnetic fields from other current-carrying wires near the clamp can affect accuracy. Try to isolate the wire being measured. |
