Question 1

Is this Adesso keyboard a good upgrade from an older iPad Pro 12.9 keyboard case?

Accepted Answer

It is a practical upgrade if you are moving to the 2024 iPad Pro 13-inch platform and want a keyboard case designed around that newer model. Compatibility matters here because the M4-generation iPad Pro changed accessory fit compared with older 12.9-inch generations. This Adesso model makes the most sense when your main goal is keeping a keyboard-case workflow after upgrading iPads, rather than reusing an older accessory that may not fit the new hardware.

Question 2

Should I buy this Adesso keyboard case or a cheaper standalone Bluetooth keyboard for my iPad Pro?

Accepted Answer

Buy this Adesso model if you want the keyboard and iPad support solution combined into one accessory. Buy a standalone Bluetooth keyboard if portability and cross-device flexibility matter more than having an integrated case. Standalone keyboards are the better choice for users who switch between iPad, laptop, and desktop devices, while Adesso is the better choice for users who want their iPad typing setup to stay attached and travel as one unit.

Question 3

Is this Adesso keyboard a better fit than Logitech Combo Touch for iPad Pro M4?

Accepted Answer

Pick Adesso if you want a Bluetooth keyboard case with a simpler all-in-one design and do not need a detachable keyboard system. Pick Logitech Combo Touch if you want more flexibility for tablet use, because its detachable keyboard and kickstand are the main reasons reviewers and users choose it over more fixed keyboard cases. Logitech is usually the better fit for mixed tablet-and-typing use, while Adesso makes more sense if you mainly want a keyboard case that stays together as one accessory.

Question 4

Should I choose this Adesso Bluetooth keyboard or Apple Magic Keyboard for an iPad Pro 13-inch M4?

Accepted Answer

Choose the Adesso option if you want a Bluetooth keyboard case with an aluminum build and a more traditional all-in-one case approach. Choose Apple Magic Keyboard if your priority is the premium iPad-specific experience: Smart Connector pairing, pass-through charging, a 14-key function row, and the newer haptic trackpad design. In short, Adesso fits buyers who want a keyboard case with broader value focus, while Apple fits buyers who want tighter hardware integration and are comfortable paying more.

Question 5

What is the main trade-off versus Apple Magic Keyboard or Logitech Combo Touch?

Accepted Answer

The likely advantage is value and a rigid aluminum build. The trade-off is ecosystem integration. Apple Magic Keyboard and Logitech Combo Touch are positioned around native iPad integration, and comparable retail Q&A repeatedly focuses on fit, compatibility, trackpad behavior, detachable design, and instant connection. This Adesso model is Bluetooth-based, so it may be a reasonable lower-friction choice on price, but it is less likely to match premium models for seamless connection and feature depth unless those features are explicitly confirmed.

Question 6

Is it good for note-taking, meetings, and office work?

Accepted Answer

It is best suited for users who mainly need reliable typing for email, documents, note-taking, and meetings. A Bluetooth keyboard case can work well for office tasks if your priority is turning the iPad into a typing device. The key limitation is that the provided product data does not confirm extras such as a trackpad, backlighting, or shortcut-row features, so buyers who depend on those productivity features should verify them before choosing this model.

Question 7

Is this a practical travel work keyboard for an iPad Pro?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you want a more laptop-like setup for typing on the go. The aluminum body suggests a sturdier, more rigid build than many soft folio cases, which can help for travel and mobile work. The main trade-off is that Bluetooth keyboards typically need separate charging and manual pairing, unlike Smart Connector keyboards that connect and power more seamlessly.

Question 8

Should I buy this if I mainly care about compatibility with the latest iPad Pro design?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but only if you specifically need a keyboard marketed for the iPad Pro 12.9-inch M4 edition. Compatibility is one of the most repeated buyer questions on retail Q&A pages for iPad keyboards, and it matters because Apple changed iPad Pro sizing and accessory fit in newer generations. This Adesso product is explicitly labeled for the 12.9-inch M4 edition, which makes it more relevant than older 12.9-inch keyboard accessories that were built for earlier iPad Pro generations.

Question 9

Is it worth buying instead of Apple’s Magic Keyboard?

Accepted Answer

It is worth considering if your main goal is basic typing on an iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) without paying for Apple’s premium keyboard. The trade-off is that Bluetooth keyboard options are usually chosen for lower cost, while buyers who want the most integrated laptop-style experience often still prefer Apple’s first-party keyboard.

Question 10

Who is this keyboard most suitable for?

Accepted Answer

It is best suited to iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) owners who want a lower-cost Bluetooth keyboard option and prefer a separate keyboard-style setup over Apple’s Magic Keyboard pricing. It is a better fit for typing, email, and light work than for users who mainly use the iPad as a tablet with Apple Pencil.
