Should I choose Stiff or Flex wrist wraps?
Stiff = maximum wrist lockdown support for heavy pressing such as benchpress. Expect a short break-in period, this is by design. Flex = ready from day one, better mobility for dynamic training such as CrossFit.
Do I get one wrist wrap or a pair, and which goes on which wrist?
Every order includes one pair; two wraps, one per wrist. Hold wrap with logo facing you, thumb loop pointing up. Loop right = right wrist. Loop left = left wrist. Includes carrying pouch and registration card. Both wraps are identical in construction
Are these wrist wraps approved for powerlifting competition?
Yes. Both Stiff and Flex meet USPA and USAPL competition standards. Not currently approved for CPU or IPF competition. If you compete internationally, check your federation's approved equipment list first.
Can these weightlifting wraps be used for push-ups, CrossFit, or sports beyond the gym?
Yes. Used for push-ups, CrossFit WODs, kettlebells, gymnastics, boxing. Choose Flex for mobility movements. Stiff for heavy pressing. Note: these are wrist wraps, not lifting straps. Rip Toned makes both. Search Rip Toned lifting straps.
Are these lifting wraps suitable for women or lifters with smaller wrists?
Yes. Our wraps fit all wrist sizes. Female lifters and smaller wrists will find Flex more comfortable — lighter weave, less bulk, slightly less support than Stiff. Message us through for help choosing.
