SALT 2: The handle components are crafted from solid fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) with completely rustproof characteristics of nitrogen-based H-1 steel. All other metal hardware is manufactured from special non-corrosive alloys.
Wharncliffe Blade: A blade profile where the point angles downward from the spine to meet a straight cutting edge at the tip.
Back Lock: This locking mechanism is located on the back of the handle and utilizes a rocker arm that pivots at the center. A lug on one end of the arm engages a notch in the blade's tang to secure the blade in the open position.
Hollow Grind: It incorporates bevels that are ground with a concave radius. The bevels may extend the full width of the blade (full Hollow Grind) or only a portion of its width.
