Fabric & Leather Proof - Waterproofing Steps
1. CLEAN
Remove laces if desired. Rinse the outside surface of footwear to dampen and remove any loose dirt. The surface of footwear must first be cleaned with Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel. Shake Footwear Cleaning Gel well, press down on red pin in scrub applicator to break seal, then use scrub applicator to apply generously to outside surface of footwear while scrubbing.
Be sure to apply enough pressure to see soap suds on surface.
2. WATERPROOF
Shake Fabric & Leather Proof well, then spray on evenly while shoes are still wet.
3. DRY
Remove any surplus with a cloth, then let dry.
