Can the heatsink be removed so the m.2 drive can fit into motherboards that have their own heatsink setup? In the description it says the heatsink cannot be disassembled?

It fit below my ViD card (7900XT) without removing the heatsink. You can always remove the heatsink,: But the OEM is not going to assure that the heat pads come off easily, that it matches the height of your MB heatsinks, that you don't damage it in the process of disassembly. TLDR Possible but will void warranty.

Would this SSD work on Gen.3 system? (Desktop PC). Of course, at lower speed. Thanks

A Gen4.0 SSD should be backwards compatible as long as the PCIe port on the SSD matches the slot you will be plugging it into on the motherboard.

Could two of these be ran together in raid zero to get theoretically 14,000 m/s read / write?

ummmm unfortunately not really. Single NVMe is fast enough to saturate the CPU bandwidth wise. It's like wanko soba (google it it's fun) eating contest and you are already eating noodles as fast as you can and you are asking, what if they brought the noodles TWICE AS FAST???
