I just received this base station & realized the antenna didn't come with it. The main goal is to get a good signal in a separate building from where the base station is. So how do I know which antenna & other equipment is needed?

There are a lot of variables to this question. What is the distance to the other building? Are you trying to get two of these to bridge together? To get wifi to another building I would buy 2 Nanostations and mount them on the roofs pointing to each other. You can shoot those a mile easy and they have built in antennas. Program one as an access point and one as a client. Then you have effectively extended your ethernet to the other building. Then for wifi inside the building I would use a Unify access point. The Rocket has the same software but can handle dual polarity antennas and be configured for dish set ups as far as 20 miles or be configured for better point to multipoint configurations. Putting the Rocket in a dish and pointing it to a building will not necessarily give you good wifi inside the other building because the devices connecting to it would have to have strong antennas as well to talk back to it. For the money you will spend to put this in a dish and possibly not have it work you might be better off with the other Ubiquity products I suggested.
