The INS-8023AF-O 802.3 af Passive PoE to 802.3 af Outdoor Adapter from Ubiquiti Networks is designed to extend the reach of PoE power within a network as well as offer remote control applications, and transform PoE devices into 48V, 802.3 af compliant devices. Management capabilities of this 802.3 af outdoor adapter include the ability to power cycle devices and to remotely monitor your network. With longer cable runs, devices can be placed at greater distances without the need for a dedicated power supply. This passive PoE adapter even comes equipped with? 15V of Ethernet isolation to help protect against ESD or surge damage to connected devices.
