How to Fix WhatsApp and Other Messaging Apps Not Reading Messages Aloud?

If messages from WhatsApp or other apps are not read aloud when using wireless CarPlay, it may be due to the following reasons. Please check the settings below:

1. Enable Siri's Announce Notifications Go to iPhone Settings > Siri & Search > Announce Notifications, ensure its turned on, and WhatsApp is selected.

2. Check WhatsApp Notification and Contact Permissions Go to iPhone Settings > WhatsApp, make sure both Notifications and Contacts access are enabled. Also go to Settings > Notifications > WhatsApp, and set Show Previews to Always.

3. Update iOS and WhatsApp Make sure your iOS and WhatsApp are updated to the latest versions to avoid compatibility issues.

4. Avoid Bluetooth Conflicts Disconnect your phone from the cars original Bluetooth and connect only to this device.

5. Disable Screen Lock Protection In WhatsApp > Settings > Privacy > Screen Lock, temporarily turn off Face ID or Touch ID.

6. System Limitation with Wireless CarPlay Some vehicles or iOS versions may have limited support for third-party message announcements in wireless CarPlay, resulting in blank messages.
