The Optoma projector utilizes digital light projection (DLP) technology that first separates the light into three components red, green, blue and then recombines them into one image. The device is 3D ready and can create lifelike 3D images. With the brightness of 3500 ANSI lumens and the contrast ratio of 10,000:1, the Optoma TX631-3D delivers vivid, sharp images. The DLP projector has a throw distance in the range of 4.3 feet to 38.6 feet, while the projected image size is 30 inches to 300 inches, measured diagonally. The native display resolution is 1024x768 pixels, and the maximum resolution reaches up to 1600x1200 pixels. In addition, the aspect ratio is 4:3. The 240-watt P-VIP lamp of the Optoma projector lasts up to 3500 hours in the normal mode or 6000 hours in eco-mode. Inputs available on the Optoma TX631-3D include RS232, USB, component video, and HDMI. The DLP projector comes equipped with a 7-watt monaural speaker. The Optoma projector measures 11 inches by 9.1 inches by 78.4 inches and weighs 4.9 lbs.
