The Sony VPL-FHZ85 7300-Lumen WUXGA 3LCD Laser Projector utilizes Sony's Bright View technology, which is designed to prevent washed out images and colors in strongly lit rooms. Other technologies, such as Reality Creation and Intelligent Settings with Ambiance, work with the projector's ability to output 7300 lumens to ensure that images and text look clear and sharp, as well as automatically adjusting settings based on ambient lighting.

The light, compact VPL-FHZ85 makes an elegant addition to any modern workspace. Its understated blend-in design features a flat-top surface that minimizes visual impact when the projector is ceiling mounted. Installation is simplified with a choice of optional lenses, while a class-leading lens shift capability (vertical +70%) overcomes challenges like ceiling obstacles and other AV equipment. A quick-release bayonet helps to simplify lens exchange.
Intelligent Settings
Intelligent Settings simplifies installation and maximizes performance based on usage, image detail, color richness and fidelity, light output, cooling level, and output noise. The Meeting/Classroom function controls laser output to keep brightness as high as possible for a period of actual usage time.
Automated Filter Cleaning
Focus on great-looking images instead of time-consuming maintenance. The automated filter cleaning system removes dust every 100 hours, ensuring unrestricted clean air intake for optimized cooling.
Dust Prevention
The laser light source is sealed to prevent dust accumulation and eliminate reduced brightness. The dedicated cooling duct structure for the projector's 3LCD panels is covered with an air filter to prevent dust from entering.
Data Cloning
Settings for one projector can be copied to a second and subsequent projectors using a USB memory drive. This greatly simplifies installation and set-up of multiple projectors.
Auto Input Select
The Auto Input Select feature automatically selects an active signal input, so there's no need to change input each time a device is connected to the projector.
Auto Power On
