Model 260: This scale measures fish up to 60 pounds in 1/2-pound increments. It is 15 inches long and has a weight of 1 1/2 pounds. It is engineered to facilitate catch and release fishing, as it allows for landing, handling, and weighing fish swiftly and simultaneously without harming the fish. It performs well for handling fish in cold weather, or difficult-to-handle fish such as toothy fish, slimy fish, or fish that are likely to fin or cut an angler. It also maintains the angler's hand at a more secure distance from hooks. The fish's weight is determined by reading the point to which the main tube's embossed scale has been pulled down inside the grip tubing. The fish is released by pulling back on the trigger. During use, hold the grip sleeve, and using the index finger or thumb, pull back the trigger sleeve, which opens the jaws. Manufactured in the USA from USA-made materials. All metal components are constructed from 300 series stainless steel, except for the precision scale spring, which is made of 17-7 PH stainless steel.
