A common reason we are seeing related to poor mic performance is that another device is set as the input (e.g. a desk mic, webcam microphone, etc.). Please double check your input settings and verify that the SP-2000 is set as your input device. Will I be able to connect to my laptop via USB and use with my cell phone to make BT calls at same time? Both your computer (via USB) and your phone (via BT) can be connected to the SP-2000 at the same time. You can toggle back and forth between the two via the source button to enable the active call you are using. Does the LED light change to a different color when mute? Yes, the top indicator lights turn red when muted.
