MSI Vigor GK30 Gaming Keyboard - Mechanical Membrane Switches, 6-Zone RGB, Water Repellent & Splash-Proof, 5000 DPI - Black

The MSI Vigor GK30 is a full-size USB gaming keyboard with tactile mechanical-like plunger switches, six-zone RGB lighting, and a stability-focused base, suited to PC gamers who want a crisp-feeling keyboard with customizable lighting.

Recommended For

• PC gamers who want a full-size wired keyboard for everyday play, with a stable base and gaming-focused key rollover.
• Budget-conscious buyers who want a tactile, mechanical-like typing feel but are comfortable with plunger switches rather than standard mechanical switches.
• Desk users who want zone-based RGB lighting and can benefit from a water-repellent design for small accidental splashes—not immersion or spills beyond MSI’s stated limits.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• During everyday PC gaming, the full-size layout, stable base, and support for common simultaneous key presses help keep familiar movement and action controls accessible; it is a membrane-based board, not a standard mechanical keyboard.
• For home or school typing, such as writing documents or messages, the plunger keys provide more distinct feedback than a conventional membrane keyboard, though reviewers note they do not feel like standard mechanical switches.
• At a shared desk, users can adjust the six lighting areas to make the keyboard’s lighting fit their setup, or turn it off; lighting modes can also be changed using keyboard hotkeys.
• While working or listening to music at a PC, users can adjust volume and control playback from the keyboard’s hotkeys without reaching for separate on-screen controls.
• If a small drink splash happens during desk use, the water-repellent design and drain holes may help limit liquid exposure and make cleanup easier; MSI specifies limited splash conditions and says not to immerse the keyboard.
