What does the LED display on the transmitter do? How to fix an unstable connection?
The LED display on the transmitter shows the power status and signal strength. If the connection is unstable, please ensure both the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) are connected to a 5V/2A power supply to maintain stable voltage.
Does it support 4K video? What’s the final output resolution?
The wireless HDMI transmitter supports decoding 4K video, but it will output at 1080P. This is a standard behavior—all wireless HDMI transmitters will downscale 4K input to 1080P for stable wireless transmission.
Can this wireless HDMI kit work with my smartphone or tablet?
It works well with HDMI-enabled devices like laptops, PCs and cameras. Smartphones/tablets are supported if you use an extra HDMI adapter. The included converters are only for cameras and DVs.
Is there any delay when using this product? Can I use it for gaming?
The latency is less than 0.01s, barely noticeable for movies and meetings. But it’s not recommended for competitive games that require zero lag.
Do I need to power both the transmitter and receiver all the time?
The receiver must be powered at all times. The transmitter can usually get power from your computer's USB port; if the connection is unstable, please connect it to an external 5V/2A power supply.
