Do l need to connect to the camera's WiFi each time l get in the car for it to record?
No, the dash cam will automatically begin recording as soon as it has power, without needing to connect to your phone's WiFi.
How do l activate the parking monitoring feature? ls a separate hardwire kit required?
To activate the 24-hour parking monitoring feature, you'll need a Type C hardwire kit, which is not included in the package. You can find the recommended kit on by searching for B09SPN811C.
Can l use CarPlay/Android Auto and the dash cam at the same time?
Yes, they can work together, but CarPlay/Android Auto and the camera can't connect to your phone at the same time. it's best to prioritize CarPlay or Android Auto while driving, as the camera will record without a constant WiFi connection.
What should l do if l forget the password?
The default password is 12345678. If you encounter an error, reset the password by holding the power button for 6-8 seconds until you hear "factory default success." The camera will reset, reconnect to WiFi, and use the default password: 12345678.
Can l monitor my car remotely?
This dash cam does not support cloud or internet streaming and is not designed as a cloud or IP camera. However, if you're within 10 feet of the dash cam, you can view live footage and recordings through the Peztio app while the camera is recording.
