The ER310 offers three sustainable power sources to recharge the radio: a Solar Panel, a Hand Crank, and a built-in 2600 mAh rechargeable battery. The Solar Panel recharges the internal lithium-ion battery using direct sunlight. The Hand Crank allows recharging during power outages or away from a power source. The rechargeable and replaceable 2600 mAh battery provides up to 32 hours of radio operation. The unit can also be powered by 6 AA batteries (not included) as a backup solution.
It features an emergency flashlight with a Bright CREE LED (130 Lumens) and an SOS Flashlight Beacon that flashes Morse code in an emergency. You can select Low or High brightness settings. It includes NOAA Weather Scan, which automatically scans 7 weather band channels and locks onto the strongest one for severe weather updates, and NOAA Weather Alert, which sounds an alarm for local severe weather risks. AM/FM radio is also available.
You can charge external devices like cell phones and tablets using the included USB cable.
An ultrasonic dog whistle is included to assist search and rescue teams in locating individuals during emergencies.
