This digital tuning portable radio provides useful voice prompts (available in English or Spanish), high-contrast large yellow controls, and preset keys with raised symbols to assist identification for visually impaired users. It delivers excellent reception and stereo audio performance, featuring an auto scan function for stations, 10 station presets (5 AM, 5 FM), and a large, easy-to-read backlit LCD display. The alarm timer can be configured to use a buzzer or the radio, and it contains an HWS (Humane Wake System) along with an adjustable sleep timer. For outstanding sound, it is fitted with dual 2.5" full-range speakers and includes a stereo/mono switch. Battery power status is displayed. Connectivity choices consist of DC input, AUX-in, and a stereo headphone output.
