Hardware Solutions (Most Reliable)

If the basic methods aren't enough, an IR Repeater Kit is the most robust solution. It works by capturing your remote's signal and re-transmitting it directly to the amplifier, even through cabinet doors or walls.

· How it Works: A small receiver picks up your remote's signal and sends it via a cable to a transmitter placed directly over or near the amplifier's IR sensor window.
· What to Look For: You can find kits specifically designed for amplifiers and stereo receivers. A popular option is a USB-powered IR repeater system with multiple transmitter heads, which is easy to set up.

📡 Wireless Extenders (For Long Distances)

For very large rooms or if running cables is inconvenient, a wireless IR extender is another option. These kits use radio frequency (RF) or Bluetooth to transmit the signal from a receiver unit near you to a transmitter unit near the amplifier, often covering distances far greater than a standard IR remote.

🛠️ Advanced/DIY Options

These are for users comfortable with electronics and will void any warranty:

· Remote Modification: You can build a small external circuit to boost the remote's transmission power, which can significantly increase its range.
· Receiver Modification: On the amplifier side, advanced users sometimes replace the IR receiver component with a more sensitive one to improve range and angle tolerance.
