40hp Gearbox with 1-3/8" X 6 Spline Input Shaft and 1.57" X 12 Spline Output Shaft

Replacement Rotary Cutter gearbox, rated for 40/45hp, featuring a 1-3/8" - 6 spline input shaft, a 1.57" X 12 tapered spline output shaft, and a 1:1.47 speed up ratio. Engineered for most rotary cutters equipped with slip clutch PTO drivelines. Works with brands such as Fred Cain, WAC, Big Bee, New Holland, John Deere, Kubota, Land Pride, Rhino, Bush Hog, and many others. These gearboxes may have a square, round, or 5-sided housing, and all are interchangeable, sharing identical mounting patterns, gear ratio, and shaft dimensions. If your current gearbox has a 1.57" diameter by 12 spline output shaft and a 1-3/8" - 6 spline input shaft, this unit is a proper replacement. The bolt pattern measures 4-3/4" center-to-center (hole to hole) and 6-3/4" center-to-center on the diagonal. The four (4) mounting holes create a square bolt pattern. This is not a universal fit gearbox. It is specifically made to replace 4-bolt mounting gearboxes with a 1-3/8" by 6 spline front shaft and a 1.57" by 12 spline bottom shaft.
