Question 1

Is the Galaxy S23+ a worthwhile upgrade from the Galaxy S22+?

Accepted Answer

The Galaxy S23+ is a worthwhile upgrade for Galaxy S22+ owners who want better sustained performance, improved battery efficiency, and a newer 12MP selfie camera. Its battery increases from 4,500mAh to 4,700mAh, while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy platform provides a stronger performance and efficiency profile than the S22+ generation. The upgrade is less compelling if the S22+ already meets your performance and battery needs.

Question 2

Should I choose the Galaxy S23+ or iPhone 15 Plus?

Accepted Answer

Choose the Galaxy S23+ if you prefer Android, a 120Hz display, a built-in 3x telephoto camera, 256GB base storage, faster wired charging, and an under-display fingerprint reader. Choose the iPhone 15 Plus if you prefer iOS, Apple device integration, Face ID, or iPhone video and app compatibility. Both provide large displays and strong battery life, but the S23+ offers more camera flexibility while the iPhone 15 Plus emphasizes the iOS ecosystem and Apple services.

Question 3

Is the Galaxy S23+ a better value than the Galaxy S23 Ultra?

Accepted Answer

Choose the Galaxy S23+ for a lighter phone with a flat 6.6-inch display, 256GB base storage, strong battery life, and a lower typical purchase cost. Choose the Galaxy S23 Ultra if you need the integrated S Pen, a 200MP main camera, dedicated 10x optical zoom, a larger 6.8-inch display, or a 5,000mAh battery. The S23+ is the more practical choice when those advanced camera and productivity features are not priorities.

Question 4

Should I buy the Galaxy S23+ or Galaxy S24+?

Accepted Answer

Choose the Galaxy S23+ when it is significantly less expensive and you want strong performance, a 6.6-inch 120Hz display, 256GB storage, a 4,700mAh battery, and 45W charging. Choose the Galaxy S24+ if you prioritize the newer processor, a sharper QHD+ display, a larger battery, more RAM in some configurations, and longer remaining software support. The camera hardware is broadly similar, so the decision mainly depends on price, display resolution, processor generation, and support longevity.

Question 5

Is the Galaxy S23+ better than the regular Galaxy S23 for everyday use?

Accepted Answer

Choose the Galaxy S23+ if you want a larger 6.6-inch display, a 4,700mAh battery, 45W wired charging, and 256GB of base storage. Choose the regular Galaxy S23 if a smaller 6.1-inch phone and lighter design are more important. Both use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor and the same rear camera layout, so the main trade-off is screen size, battery capacity, charging speed, and portability.

Question 6

Is 256GB enough storage for the Galaxy S23+?

Accepted Answer

256GB is generally sufficient for apps, documents, photos, and offline media for typical users. The main trade-off is that the Galaxy S23+ does not support a microSD card, so storage cannot be expanded later. Users who record large amounts of 4K video or keep extensive offline media should plan to use cloud storage or transfer files regularly.

Question 7

Is the unlocked Galaxy S23+ suitable for travel?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The unlocked Galaxy S23+ is suitable for domestic and international travel because it is not tied to one carrier and can be activated with a compatible SIM or eSIM. Before traveling, verify that the destination carrier supports the SM-S916U model and its network bands. An international SIM, eSIM, or travel plan may be required.

Question 8

Is the Galaxy S23+ good for meetings, note-taking, and office work?

Accepted Answer

It is suitable for mobile office tasks such as email, video meetings, messaging, document review, and short notes. The 6.6-inch display and 256GB storage provide useful working space, but the phone is less comfortable than a laptop or tablet for extended typing, large spreadsheets, or long documents. A Bluetooth keyboard can improve productivity.

Question 9

Does the unlocked Galaxy S23+ include a SIM card or wall charger?

Accepted Answer

The product information provided does not confirm that a SIM card or wall charger is included. Retail questions for this model commonly address the lack of an included SIM and wall adapter, so buyers should verify the seller's package contents before purchase. The phone uses USB-C charging and supports wireless charging, but a compatible power adapter may need to be purchased separately.

Question 10

Is the Samsung Galaxy S23+ still worth buying in 2026?

Accepted Answer

It can still be a practical buy if the price is significantly below newer flagship phones. User discussions and long-term reviews generally describe the S23+ as fast enough for daily use, gaming, and photography, but its value depends on battery condition, remaining software support, and the condition of the specific unit.
