Nickel plated plug with Black Housing
PS40 patch cables equip with straight or angled nickel plated plugs with black color housing.
Nickel plated plugs have the better balance with Gold plated on contact resistance and life.
Some plugs looks like "Gold" plated but actually it's metallic oxide and in high contact resistance.
And black color housing with vintage looking.

Coaxial cable for unbalanced transfer design
PS40 cable construct with coaxial cable design with Copper core – Linear polyethylene insulation – Conductive plastic shielding – Spiral copper shielding – Soft rubber like PVC outjacket.
Soild coaxial donstruction have less inside movement and less Capacitance and Capacitance change than twisting construction, provide reliable using and more less tone loss for guitar, bass or other equipment in unbalanced signal output.
95% Shielded rate in double shielding
Even braided copper wire with aluminum foil is the most high rate in shielding (more than 99%), but it will makes the cable hard and not flexible, and while the cable move or blend regularly, the aluminum foil will break easily and loss shielding.
PP40 cable construct with 56 stands of 36-AWG spiral copper wire with conductive plastic, double shielding provide more than 95% shielding in reliable.
The result of our double shielding with soft outjacket, PS40 cable is quiet and flexible still.
