RME 12Mic-D Network-Ready Microphone Preamp with Dante, ADAT, and MADI Bundle with Rode NTH-100 Pro Over-Ear Headphones and XLR-XLR

Add 12 channels of pristine mic/line inputs featuring 75 dB of gain to your networked audio system with the 12Mic-D Kit from RME. Designed to conveniently integrate into modern digital workflows, the 1 RU rackmount preamp and analog to digital converter provides two RJ45 ports for Dante networking, three ADAT output, and a pair of coaxial MADI ports with an optical SFP option available. The 12 mic/line inputs are all on the front panel, with 8 XLR connectors and 4 TRS/XLR connectors that feature Hi-Z switches for instruments. Control the input gain and other settings from the buttons, knob, and color screen on the front panel, via a web interface network link, or wirelessly using Wi-Fi. A 1/4" jack on the front panel provides quick headphone monitoring. Any signal can be routed over a network with a fixed latency to ensure steady playback. RME's SteadyClock FS also ensures precise synchronization among elements, giving you a performance free from jitter, so your audio is as clear as it can be. The unit also features a redundant power supplies. Use the DC input and the IEC VAC input to ensure that accidental disconnection of either won't cause the 12Mic-D to shut off.

The PAD-free microphone input stages have a 75 dB gain range and accept signals of up to +18 dBu. On the converter side, the 12Mic-D shines with an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio on all channels. All twelve front-facing XLR connections accept microphone and line level signals, while the first four connections also accept TRS connectors, with switchable high-impedance (Hi-Z) for instruments.In addition to Dante, the 12Mic-D has two separate MADI ports, with coaxial built into the device as standard, and optical MADI available via an optional SFP module. along with three ADAT outputs and a line level headphone output for monitoring all incoming digital and analog signals. With the help of a routing matrix, any of the 12Mic-Ds 204 input channels can be individually routed to any of the 218 output channels. It comes with a Rode NTH-100, a set of professional headphones that offers pro-grade sonic performance and build quality for all forms of content creation, including mixing, audio and video production, location recording, podcasting, streaming, and daily listening.
