Our Antiquity P90 Dog Ear pickups utilize two specially calibrated Alnico 2 bar magnets, along with custom neck and bridge coil winds, to produce the sweet, vintage-accurate growl characteristic of late 50s ES-330 P90 pickups. In the neck position, chords possess a full and rounded tone, while single notes exhibit a sweet, bouncy character. The neck pickup is also wound RW/RP to provide hum-cancelling performance when used in combination with the bridge position model. If you remove our hand-aged dog ear cover, you will discover the same hand-fabricated bobbin, plain enamel magnet wire, and flatback tape that was manufactured in Kalamazoo during the early period.

These pickups serve as direct replacements for any standard Gibson P90 Dog Ear sized route and are supplied with aged black covers.
