Quarter Pound Staggered Strat - Middle Rwrp - Black

Featuring over twice the power of a conventional Strat single-coil, the Quarter Pound Staggered offers a rich and punchy midrange along with a clear top end that is always prepared to be cranked. Its hand-polished, diameter Alnico 5 rod magnets employ the classic Strat pole stagger, paired with a potent custom coil winding to deliver sparkling midrange harmonics, excellent sustain, and big, full chords. The Quarter Pound Staggered RWRP for Stratocaster utilizes the same diameter Alnico 5 rod magnets and high-output custom coil winding as the standard model, but is constructed reverse wound and reverse polarity.

When paired with the neck or bridge pickups in positions 2 and 4, it ensures quiet, noiseless operation. On its own, it produces the same robust, punchy tone as the standard wound version. The neck/bridge and middle pickups are also offered in an optional tapped configuration, granting access to both vintage and high-output tonalities from a single set. The bobbins are hand-crafted using a custom high-output coil wind, diameter Alnico 5 rod magnets, and are wax-potted for performance free of squeal. Modern oval Forbon flatwork (non-triangular) is employed, allowing this pickup to fit into any guitar routed for single coils.
