Quarter Pound Jazz Bass - 5- String Neck

The Quarter Pound Jazz Bass pickups deliver everything: high output, strong attack, and a bold character. The 1/4 diameter pole pieces and high-output coil winding provide a full, balanced response with excellent sustain and rich sonic detail for a powerful sound suitable for any musical style. You receive the increased output of an overwound coil, combined with the clarity and detailed high frequencies of a classic pickup design. The neck position model is wound RWRP (reverse wound/reverse polarity) for hum-cancellation when paired with the bridge pickup. These pickups are direct replacements for any American Standard Jazz Bass. Mexican Standard Jazz Basses utilize two neck-sized pickups. Crafted by hand in Santa Barbara, CA, these pickups feature Alnico 5 rod magnets and Forbon flatwork, and are wax potted to eliminate microphonic feedback. Each unit includes a black cover and is offered in both 4-string and 5-string configurations.
