JVC HA-S36WA Bluetooth 5.2 Headphones Lightweight Over Ear (Blue)

The JVC HA-S36WA is a lightweight blue Bluetooth 5.2 headphone with a built-in microphone, suited to people who want wireless headphones for everyday listening and calls.

Recommended For

• Remote workers switching between a work computer and personal phone: multipoint connects two devices, and the built-in microphone can be muted during calls.
• Commuters or students who want a lightweight, fold-flat Bluetooth headset for everyday listening and carrying in a bag, without needing active noise cancellation.
• Listeners who prefer infrequent charging for music, podcasts, or calls: JVC rates the battery for up to 35 hours, and a review found it exceeded 30 hours in testing.
• Casual music listeners who want simple onboard sound choices: the headphones offer Normal, Bass, and Clear modes without requiring a companion app.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• For work-from-home calls, connect the headphones to a computer and phone, then take a call from either without switching Bluetooth pairings; use the built-in microphone mute when you need privacy.
• For daily music or podcast listening, use them across several days between charges; JVC rates battery life at up to 35 hours, though actual runtime varies with use.
• For commuting or packing in a day bag, swivel the earcups flat to make the headphones easier to store; they have no active noise cancellation, so they are not designed to silence busy surroundings.
• For casual listening at home, switch among the bass, clear, and normal sound modes to suit music or spoken audio; independent testing describes the default sound as somewhat bass-forward and less clear in parts of the midrange and treble.
• For phone calls while doing light tasks at home, answer and manage calls using the headphone controls and built-in microphone; fit and comfort may vary, as the on-ear pads can feel warm or press firmly during longer sessions.
