The Poly Blackwire 3320 is a wired, stereo on-ear headset with USB-C and 3.5 mm connections, suited to people who want a straightforward headset for calls, meetings, and everyday listening.

Recommended For

• Remote and hybrid workers who spend much of the day on laptop calls and want a wired headset with a boom microphone and inline mute, volume, and call controls.
• Office and contact-center staff who need a straightforward wired headset for voice calls in a relatively quiet workspace; a real-world comparison found it more suited to quieter settings than high-background-noise conditions.
• Desk-based users who prefer a dependable wired connection over charging or managing a wireless headset; Poly lists the Blackwire 3320 as wired, with USB-C connectivity.
• People who want one headset for calls and occasional casual listening between meetings, rather than a headset chosen primarily for music playback; the stereo speakers support both calls and media.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• For work-from-home video meetings or office calls, users can plug in the Blackwire 3320 and use its boom microphone for hands-free conversation; it is designed for business calls, but its microphone reduces rather than eliminates competing background noise.
• At a desk with a compatible USB-C device, users can connect the wired headset and take calls without managing a headset battery or Bluetooth pairing; the cable keeps it tethered to the device.
• During a busy workday with calls between tasks, users can answer or end calls, mute, and adjust volume from the headset’s inline controls instead of reaching for the computer.
• For online meetings in a relatively quiet room, the mic is suited to everyday voice conversations; testing found it handled quieter environments better than louder background-noise simulations.
• Between calls, users can listen to music or video audio in stereo; its business-focused design is also suited to voice chat, though it is not a wireless gaming headset.
