Poly Blackwire 3315 Headset - Mono - Mini-phone (3.5mm), USB Type C - Wired - 32 Ohm - 20 Hz - 20 kHz - On-ear - Monaural - Supra-aural - 7.10 ft Cable - Omni-directional Microphone - Noise Canceling

The Poly Blackwire 3315 is a wired, single-ear headset with a noise-canceling feature, an omnidirectional microphone, and 3.5 mm and USB-C connections, suited to people who take work calls and want to keep one ear uncovered.

Recommended For

• People who spend much of the workday on PC calls or video meetings and want a wired headset with inline call, mute, and volume controls.
• Office or hybrid workers who want to hear coworkers and other activity around them while taking calls, because the monaural design leaves one ear open.
• People switching between a compatible computer and a phone or tablet who can use USB-C/USB-A and a 3.5 mm audio connection.
• Call-heavy users who prefer a wired, plug-in setup and a boom microphone designed for voice calls rather than a wireless headset that needs charging.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• For work-from-home or office video meetings, connect the headset to a compatible computer and use its boom microphone for conversation; its noise- and echo-reduction features are intended to help keep transmitted speech clearer.
• During frequent calls, use the inline controls to answer or end a call, mute the microphone, and adjust volume without reaching for the computer’s audio controls.
• At a shared desk, on a support shift, or while coordinating with nearby coworkers, the one-ear design lets the wearer hear the call while keeping the other ear open to surrounding conversation.
• When moving between a compatible USB-C computer and a device with a 3.5 mm audio jack, use the connection that matches the device to keep using one wired headset; check the specific device and headset version for compatibility.
• For speech-focused tasks such as customer calls or online training, the mono headset keeps the experience centered on spoken audio rather than stereo listening; it can also leave one ear available to hear the room.
