Unlike the flat backsides of typical closed-back headphones, the backs of the HE-R10D are deep and uniquely shaped to prevent unnatural echoes and other spatial distortions. The result is an experience that?s sonically closer to an open-back than a traditional closed-back design.

HIFIMAN Topology Diaphragm

HIFIMAN founder Dr. Fang Bian argued in his PhD thesis that nanoparticles have distinctive properties based on their distinctive structures. He applied this discovery to hi-fi audio by applying a coating of nanoparticles to the surface of a headphone diaphragm, yielding results in acoustic performance that were previously unobtainable. Real wood ear cups

The HE-R10D features ear cups made of real wood. These beautifully carved cups are CNC machined and have a golden grain that looks great in any light.

Three detachable cables

The HE-R10D includes three detachable cables with three different jacks: one cable with a 3.5mm jack, one cable with an XLR balanced jack, and one cable with a 6.35mm jack. Whether you run a balanced amp, portable rig, or single-ended DAC/Amp, you?re covered.
