The Adesso Xtream T5 are open-ear Bluetooth earbuds for runners, walkers, and commuters who want to listen to audio while staying aware of surrounding sounds. Their water-resistant, sweatproof design suits workouts and outdoor use.

    Recommended For

    • Runners and walkers who want music or podcasts while keeping their ears open to nearby traffic and other surroundings.
    • People who find in-ear tips uncomfortable and want audio without earbuds sitting inside the ear canal.
    • Gym-goers who want open-ear listening for workouts and a water-resistant design for sweat or light rain.
    • Desk or remote workers who want to take occasional hands-free calls or listen to audio while remaining aware of people and activity nearby.

    Real-World Use Scenarios

    • During an outdoor walk or run, listen to music or a podcast while still hearing nearby people and traffic; the open-ear design supports awareness, but it does not guarantee safety.
    • At the gym or during a sweaty workout, play music without sealing the ear canal; the T5 is positioned for sport use and is listed as water resistant, though fit and comfort can vary by wearer.
    • While cooking, doing laundry, or handling other tasks at home, listen to audio and remain able to hear someone speaking or sounds around the room, rather than tuning out the environment.
    • On a walk or a quieter commute, listen to audio while staying more aware of nearby announcements and conversations; in loud transit settings, open-ear audio may be harder to hear because it does not block surrounding noise.
    • During casual conversation at home or at a desk, keep audio on without needing to remove the earbuds just to hear someone nearby; the open design is less suited to situations where blocking background noise is important.
