CISCO SYSTEMS HS-WL-730-BUNA-P 730 Wireless Headset Platinum

The Cisco 730 Wireless Headset Platinum is an over-ear wireless headset with a directional microphone, suited to people who want a headset for calls and other listening in work or home settings.

Recommended For

• Hybrid workers who take frequent calls at home, in shared offices, or while traveling and want wireless calling with adjustable noise cancellation and background-noise reduction.
• Mobile and office workers who move between a computer and phone and want one headset that can connect to multiple devices, with call and music controls on the earcups.
• People who want a single headset for work calls and personal listening, and value noise-canceling and ambient modes for shifting between focus and nearby conversation.
• Frequent callers who need a headset for much of the workday and prefer not to recharge between typical work sessions; TechRadar reported at least 20 hours of general use in its testing.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• Joining recurring Webex or Cisco phone meetings from a desk: the headset’s call and mute controls make it easier to manage calls without reaching for the computer or phone; available controls depend on how it is connected and the calling app.
• Taking calls in a shared office or at home with nearby background noise: active noise cancellation can make surrounding sound less distracting to the wearer, while the headset’s microphone system is designed for voice calls; it should not be treated as a guarantee that callers will hear no background noise.
• Working through a call-heavy day without staying tethered to a desk: its wireless connection and included USB adapter can suit computers or call devices that lack Bluetooth, letting users move between supported setups without changing headsets.
• Focusing on work in a noisy environment, then returning to calls or audio: the over-ear fit and noise-cancelling features can help reduce listening distractions, with controls for calls and playback available on the headset.
• Handling meetings across much of a workday: the headset is designed for extended talk use, and a review found it lasted about 20 hours of general use before recharging, though actual runtime varies with settings and use.
