The SCTP ACAD001WH is a gloss-white, 3mm silicone protective case for AirPods 1 and 2, with shock-absorbing coverage and a detachable metal keychain clip. It suits owners who want everyday protection and an easy way to attach their AirPods case to a bag or backpack.
Recommended For
- AirPods 1st- or 2nd-generation owners who carry the charging case in a bag or pocket and want a silicone layer for everyday scuffs and minor bumps.
- People who attach their AirPods case to a key ring or bag for easier access while commuting or moving between locations.
- Users who prefer a grippier silicone cover to help hold the small charging case when their hands are full or they are taking it out on the go.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- While commuting or running errands, clip the AirPods case to a bag or keyring so it is easier to keep track of and reach than when carried loose in a pocket.
- When the charging case shares a pocket or bag with everyday items, the silicone cover adds a layer between its surface and nearby objects that can cause scuffs or scratches.
- If the case slips from a hand or desk, the thick silicone layer is intended to cushion some of the impact; it can help protect against minor drops but does not guarantee the AirPods case will be undamaged.
- During everyday use around light dust or an occasional small splash, the cover provides an extra barrier around the charging case; it should not be treated as waterproof or as protection for immersion.
