The EPOS IMPACT 430T is a wired, mono on-ear headset with USB-C connectivity, Microsoft Teams certification, and a directional noise-cancelling microphone. It suits people who take Teams calls and want a single-ear headset with a focused microphone.
Recommended For
- Microsoft Teams users who spend much of the workday on calls and want a Teams-certified, plug-in headset with a boom mic and call controls.
- Hybrid and home-office workers who take frequent calls and prefer a lightweight, single-ear headset that leaves the other ear uncovered.
- People taking calls in shared workspaces who want a directional boom mic with noise-filtering intended to reduce unwanted background sound in their transmitted voice.
- Desk-based callers who value a wired USB-C connection, with an included adapter for USB-A, over charging and wireless pairing.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- In a shared office, use the IMPACT 430T for Microsoft Teams calls; its microphone filtering is designed to reduce unwanted background noise in the caller’s transmitted voice, and the model meets Teams Open Office requirements.
- For hybrid meetings at a desk, plug it into a USB-C port—or use the included adapter for USB-A—to start calls without charging or Bluetooth pairing.
- When taking calls while working around colleagues, the single-sided design leaves one ear uncovered so you can remain more aware of nearby conversation than with a two-ear headset.
- For a day with back-to-back calls, its lightweight design, padded headband, and soft ear pad are intended to make extended wear more comfortable.
- During meetings, raise the microphone boom to mute or lower it to speak, making quick mute changes convenient when you need to cough or talk to someone nearby.
