EPOS IMPACT 460T Headset - Microsoft Teams Certification - Stereo - USB Type C - Wired - 32 Ohm - 20 Hz - 20 kHz - On-ear - Binaural - 5.91 ft Cable - Noise Cancelling, Electret Condenser, Uni-directi

The EPOS IMPACT 460T is a wired, stereo USB-C on-ear headset with Microsoft Teams certification and a noise-cancelling directional microphone, suited to people who spend time in Teams calls and online meetings at a desk.

Recommended For

• People who spend much of the workday on Teams calls or meetings and want a wired headset with a boom microphone, voice-focused audio, and Teams-specific controls.
• Hybrid or open-office workers who need their voice to come through clearly on calls while the microphone filters some background noise.
• Desk-based users who prefer a dependable USB connection and plug-in setup over Bluetooth pairing or charging; the headset connects by USB-C and includes a USB-A adapter.
• Call-heavy users who want lightweight on-ear headphones and simple call controls, including lifting the microphone boom to mute.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• In Microsoft Teams meetings, a user can answer calls, access Teams functions, and check meeting or voicemail notifications from the headset, reducing the need to manage every action on screen.
• During calls from a shared or open-plan workspace, the boom microphone’s noise filtering is intended to emphasize the speaker’s voice and reduce how much surrounding sound reaches other participants.
• For a workday with frequent calls, the wired USB connection lets a user connect to a computer without managing headset battery life; the headset is ready for calls while it remains plugged in.
• When a user needs to mute quickly during a call, lifting the microphone boom mutes it, and the boom’s mute indicator provides a visual check of its status.
• Between meetings, a user can listen to music or other computer audio through the stereo headset, though it is primarily positioned for workplace calls rather than as a dedicated music-listening headset.
