The EPOS | Sennheiser ADAPT 160T ANC USB-C is a wired, stereo on-ear headset with a noise-cancelling microphone and noise cancellation, suited to professionals who take calls or join meetings in busy workspaces.

    Recommended For

    • Remote and office workers who spend much of the day on Teams or other softphone calls and want a wired headset with a boom mic, inline controls, and ANC.
    • Hybrid workers who move between a home desk and an office and want a fold-flat headset with a carry pouch and a detachable USB-A/USB-C cable.
    • Students taking online classes or joining frequent video meetings from a quiet room who need clear voice-focused playback and a boom microphone for speaking.
    • People who want one headset mainly for calls, with occasional podcasts, videos, or casual gaming; a reviewer found it comfortable for long calls and described its sound as voice-focused.

    Real-World Use Scenarios

    • During a workday of Microsoft Teams meetings, a user can stay connected through the wired USB connection and manage calls from the in-line controls; the headset is designed for Teams and other unified communications apps.
    • In a shared or noisy office, someone taking calls can use the noise-cancelling microphone to help reduce background sound picked up during conversation, while the headset’s ANC reduces some surrounding noise they hear.
    • At home, a remote worker can wear the headset for back-to-back calls; one review found its fit comfortable during long calls, though comfort can vary by person.
    • When concentrating in a workplace with steady background noise, a user can switch on ANC to lower some of the noise they hear; it is noise reduction, not complete isolation.
    • For breaks between meetings, a user can listen to podcasts or watch videos; a review found voices came through clearly, while describing music listening as less suited to the headset’s call-focused tuning.
