Driver Yet: The Aether features the biggest IEM planar driver we have developed to date. With a 15.3 mm diaphragm and exceptionally powerful, multi-layered N52 neodymium magnets, the Aether's driver delivers a truly headphone-like audio experience. Compared to the common 12mm or 14mm diaphragm size found in other planar driver IEMs, the Aether's 15mm driver generates greater output with lower distortion, markedly enhancing audio quality.
Speaker-like Sound: The larger driver in the Aether not only boosts its resolution but also provides a wider and more precise soundstage and imaging. Owing to our new chamber design and enhanced ventilation in the driver and shell, we aimed to replicate the experience of listening to open-back headphones or stereo sound systems. And with the airy texture characteristic of planar magnetic drivers, the Aether sounds open and lifelike.
Tonal Integrity: Tonal integrity was a fundamental aspect in engineering the Aether. Remaining faithful to the signature tonal balance, the Aether has been meticulously crafted to produce a natural and accurate sound. The bass is focused with sub-woofer-like impact and a gentle mid-bass to mids transition to impart a subtle warmth to the body of the sound. The core midrange from 300 to 800Hz is flat to provide a monitor-like accuracy for instruments and vocals. The treble was meticulously tuned to carefully match the tonal perception of the human ear and deliver a clear, yet natural upper frequency response.
