Cons: i knew for the get go this was a bad idea.
i mean a BRAND new logitech MX518 coming from over seas?
Well stupid me i went for it.
what i got was a worn out logitech MX518, i got it in my mailbox today in a plastic bag with no protection.
when this item was in order verification, i wanted to cancel immediately, instead E-Buy World caught wind of my knowing this is probably a NON-new mice. and they shipped it immediately. without quesiton.
DO NOT TRUST E BUY WORLD.
logitech mx518 mice are not manufactured anymore. and its hard to find a brand new one.
what this certain ebuy world does is they put 1 of these on newegg saying it NEW and only 46.99!
once they shipped it , there were none left and they waited a week to throw another USED/ BROKEN mouse on newegg stating its brand new.
when i asked the ebuyworld person if its brand new was is it not in its original packaging? all they did was say it is new dont worry.
THIS is not a new MX518. i have gone through 6 of the mice over the last 10 years. and i know when its worn down, over used, and broken.
i mean cmon, they mailed me a mouse in plastic bag with no protection and the right button doesnt even click, it smells of chlorox like they cleaned it up, and it has scratches on it and u can here stuff jiggle around inside.
sign of a OVER used / WORN out mouse.
now the Ebuy World is telling me to try it out and maybe they might give me a partial refund?
N F W.
IF i do not get my full refund back i will continue to file complaints against E-Buy World.
i got totally scammed.
Overall Review: im an idiot for thinking this was gonna be a new one.
do not buy from e-buy world.
Pros: It's comfortable in my hand. The sensitivity is good.
Cons: After six months or so, the left and right mouse buttons became unreliable: sometimes clicks wouldn't register; sometimes clicks would register as double-clicks. The problem was especially bad in games.
Overall Review: I bought this MX518 Legendary in November 2020. It's almost identical to an MX518 I bought many years ago that was my favorite mouse of all time. The old one lasted several years before the left and right mouse buttons started failing. This new one only lasted six months.
Pros: Fits great in your hand
Cons: Cable could be braided, but is fine as is
Overall Review: Like I said, best mouse of all time.
Pros: well it at least 'looks' like the mouse it replaced...
Cons: it just feels cheap. wasnt a big fan of the setup and drivers program either, but the biggest thing? when it was finally determined to be faulty customer support stopped responding entirely and i havent heard from them in weeks. written customer care, sent a dozen emails and made official complaints about it, but they still havent gotten back to me yet. dont ever buy logitech.
Overall Review: why buy a product the company doesnt stand by and who wont honor their own warranty? what else needs to be said? this was the 2nd worst mouse ive ever had and nothing like the original which was my favorite mouse i ever had.
Pros: Easy to program
Lots of ways to personalize
Cons: Have to find and update driver
Overall Review: I use this mouse for routine work as well as gaming, and it works great for both.
One change I would like to see is the ability to program my own keystroke instead of choosing from the supplied list.
Overall Review: I was surprised at the LOW cost of the Mouse. It works Fantastic. No Probems. I have two computers , win7 & WIn98se, This mouse works on the KVM on both computers. I am very happy with MX518.
but I prefer that
Overall Review: Logitech makes excellent mice, they almost always do. I don't care much for 42 buttons on a mouse. This design is optimal. Best of all, this mouse is not at all sticky to the touch, like the roccat.
Pros: smooth movement, felt great in games (fps), a few customizable buttons, smooth non braided cord.
Cons: the forward button stopped working 5 months in.
Overall Review: Had it lasted longer than 5 months I would have rated it better, I don't even use that button as often as the others.
