- This OS2 LC to LC single-mode fiber patch cable is designed for multi-scenario applications, including 10G/40G Ethernet connections in gigabit Ethernet, fiber channel, LANs, data centers, premise installations, WANs, and commercial environments. It is suitable for connecting 10G SR, 10G LRM, SFP+ transceivers, media converters, and optical fiber NICs. This high-performance duplex SM single-mode fiber (OS2 9/125m) features low insertion loss (0.3 dB) and high return loss (30 dB) for stable transmission. The 2.0mm Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket operates in temperatures from -20°C to 70°C. With a 16mm minimum bend radius, this SMF fiber is 4X more flexible than standard 50-micron cables, preventing macro-bending loss. It is ideal for SAN network cabinets requiring 20+ bends or high-density installations in tight spaces. Maximum transmission distances are 550 meters for 1Gb Ethernet at 850nm, and 300 meters for both 10Gb and 40Gb Ethernet at 850nm. UPC polish and Japan-made zirconia ceramic ferrules ensure precise alignment and signal integrity. For easy installation, the flexible patch cord has adjustable LC-LC connector clips and removable dust caps. Embossed A/B position labels on the duplex clip and jacket tag rings labeled 1 & 2 allow quick identification of Tx and Rx for installation and troubleshooting.
