- Armored Fiber Optic Cable is designed for outdoor applications. This LC fiber jumper incorporates a built-in stainless steel tube to shield the inner glass fiber core from damage, such as pet chewing. It maintains all standard patch cord features while offering substantially greater strength. It is resistant to pressure, wear, and heat. This low-friction LC/PC to LC/PC single-mode duplex fiber optic patch cable has a body constructed from an ultra-low friction, flame-retardant LSZH jacket (Coefficient of Friction <0.2), facilitating easier pulling through conduit. It provides UV, water, and weather resistance. A pulling eye is equipped on the cable to assist in pulling it through conduit. Fiber Grade: G.657.A2 (Compatible with G.652.D); Minimum Bend Radius: 7.5mm. This cable finds wide use in network extension, connecting TV cameras, and providing fiber connectivity in locations where Ethernet is unsuitable. Installation is simple, as it is pre-terminated and ready for plug-and-go operation.
