Sennheiser EM 6000 DANTE Competitive DifferencesThe Sennheiser EM 6000 DANTE is engineered for mission-critical wireless audio where reliability, sound quality, and system flexibility are essential. It supports two digital audio channels in a compact 1U rackmount chassis and is ideal for rental companies, touring rigs, theaters, houses of worship, broadcast facilities, and large corporate systems.
Digital 6000 technology delivers transparent 24-bit/96 kHz audio with a 30 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, 111 dB dynamic range, and low 3 ms latency. Its true-bit diversity reception analyzes each bit across parallel reception streams, while error correction and audio error masking help prevent RF issues from becoming audible.
The receiver includes Dante network audio, AES3 digital output, transformer-balanced analog XLR and 1/4" outputs, word clock input and output, and headphone monitoring for one or both channels. An Ethernet control port allows remote configuration and monitoring through Sennheiser Wireless Systems Manager software.
For large-scale wireless deployments, the Sennheiser EM 6000 DANTE offers automatic frequency setup, OLED displays, transmitter parameter sync via infrared, and an integrated active antenna splitter for cascading up to eight units without additional antenna distribution hardware. It is compatible with SK 6000, SK 6212, SKM 6000, SK 9000, and SKM 9000 transmitters operating in compatible modes.
