The Allen & Heath QU-5 is the latest addition to the QU series of digital mixers, incorporating user-requested enhancements and improved hardware while maintaining the proven QU workflow. It offers 36 inputs (32 mono, 2 stereo), 6 mono and 6 stereo aux/group sends, 4 mono matrix mixes, and 12 XLR outputs â?? all powered by 96kHz XCVI processing.

Every input channel features a dedicated display for name/type identification, chromatic metering, and fast level referencing. The redesigned UI on the 7â?� touchscreen improves navigation and workflow, while assignable SoftKeys, customizable layers, and responsive motorized faders offer unparalleled control flexibility.

Multitrack recording is supported via a 32x32 USB-C interface or direct-to-SD card, with stereo playback available through the USB-A port. The built-in AMM makes the QU-5 ideal for conference mixing, and DEEP processing provides access to studio-quality tools without external DSPs. Connectivity is further expanded with SLink for integration with other Allen & Heath systems.
