A broadcast industry standard, the RE20 Broadcast Announcer Microphone Bundle with Variable-D from Electro-Voice is a cardioid dynamic microphone that delivers reliable, low-noise performance with exceptional clarity and definition. This model is styled in the classic fawn beige finish. Response tailored especially for vocals with high sound pressure handling capabilities. Rugged, steel construction with low handling noise. The RE20 features a cardioid polar pattern with no coloration at 180-degrees off-axis—the frequency response is nearly independent of angular location of the sound source, creating virtually no off-axis coloration, yet providing the greatest possible rejection of unwanted sounds.
It comes with a Front Address Pop Filter helps mitigate plosives and breath noise during vocal recording and broadcast applications such as voiceover work, radio interviews, and podcasts. The pop filter features a 3" nylon filter that not only reduces P sounds and B sounds but also helps prevent corrosive moisture from damaging your microphone's delicate diaphragm. Plus an extra XLR-XLR cable.
