Can the lighting effects be disabled on the QuadCast S?
Yes, the lighting on the QuadCast S is customizable via NGENUITY. The lighting can be configured in many different ways including completely disabling the lighting, or changing when you want the lighting turned on eg. muted versus unmuted (not both).
What is the 3.5mm auxiliary port on the back of the QuadCast S used for?
Headphones (single 3.5mm) can be plugged into the port and be used to listen to audio, just like if they were plugged directly into the system. In addition, the microphone feed can also be played directly into the headphones (configurable on PC/Mac).
Is the QuadCast S compatible with Xbox systems?
The QuadCast S is not compatible with Xbox systems. The QuadCast S is officially compatible with PC, PS4, PS5, and MacOS systems.
How long is the USB cable that comes with the QuadCast S?
The included cable is 3 meters (~9.8 feet) in length, USB C on the side of the microphone and USB A on the system side.
Can the Quadcast S be connected using a third-party USB C to USB C cable?
You can use a USB C to USB C cable but it will only work with one orientation of the USB C connection (on the microphone side). This does not affect the USB C to USB A cable included with the microphone.
