The MIC-0286 is a mini telescopic super-cardioid condenser microphone for DSLR cameras, video recorders and phones/tablets (with proper adapter cable). Built-in microphones as those used in cameras and phones have limited dynamic range and frequency response, causing voices to sound thin and wispy with a high degree of background noise.

The MIC-0286 has two-mode pattern switch that allows for highly directional sound or for a wide-field area, delivering clear and natural voices and sounds. The foam windscreen will minimize wind noise when shooting outdoors while the built-in shock mount eliminates microphone movement noises during filming. Very lightweight and with a compact size (4 ounces, 6"), it is a high-performance microphone that is packed full of features:

BROADCAST GRADE SOUND - high quality 1/2" electret element for 20-20K frequency response. Voices and sounds are reproduced with detail and clarity.

SWITCHABLE PATTERN -Choose between normal sound field coverage (cardioid) for group recording or Telescopic (Super-cardioid) a narrow recording field on specific sound sources up to 25 feet away.

LOW CUT FILTER - 5db@300Hz eliminates excessive low frequencies noises.

OFF-ON SWITCH - Easy to reach side mount OFF/ON switch to conserve battery life.

MIC INPUT - 3.5mm input for a secondary microphone.

HEADPHONE JACK - Plug in headphones and monitor your sound quality while recording.

SHOCK MOUNT - Built- in camera shoe shock mount isolates vibrations and movement from the microphone. The camera shoe mount also has a 1/4"-20 thread hole under the base for additional mounting options.

BATTERY LIFE - requires single 1.5v AA battery, up to 100 hours (not included)
