Does incoming phone number appear on front of screen when closed?

Sorry, Not sure. I did not see any screen on the top of the lead and I was not able to get it to work on my T-Mobile network to receive a call.

Is this senior friendly: loud volume speaker (not necessarily "speaker phone") and extra bright display?

I would say its senior friendly because you can answer it by flipping it open and because the numbers are a little bigger than other "regular" flip phones. It is definitely not a speaker phone and the screen is not specially bright.
