The Thermalright HR-EP101 C BLACK is a compact M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure made for smaller 2230 and 2242 drives. It is a simple way to turn a spare short M.2 SSD into portable external storage for files, photos, videos, backups, or quick drive checks.
The aluminum alloy housing keeps the enclosure lightweight and easy to carry, measuring about 70 x 34 x 11.5mm and weighing about 45g. A corner cutout allows you to attach your own lanyard or hook, making it easier to carry with a laptop bag, key pouch, or everyday gear. USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C supports up to 10Gbps when used with a compatible NVMe SSD, cable, and USB port.
The HR-EP101 supports M Key and compatible B&M Key M.2 NVMe SSDs, with up to 2TB capacity depending on the SSD. It works with Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android devices that support external storage. A new or reused SSD may need to be formatted before first use. Includes 1-year warranty support.
Model Note: HR-EP101 C BLACK is for M.2 NVMe SSDs in 2230 and 2242 sizes. It is not for 2260 or 2280 SSDs, 2.5-inch SATA drives, mSATA drives, or M.2 Wi-Fi cards.
