Versatile and Portable PA System
Built for multipurpose applications like stage monitoring, PA duties, and band rehearsals, the B205D from Behringer is a 150W portable PA with a 5.25" full-range driver. Thanks to three combo XLR-1/4" inputs, a stereo RCA input, and built-in phantom power, you can connect to virtually any audio source with ease.
The two XLR-1/4" combo input jacks on the front sport dedicated channel level controls as well as the RCA stereo input. An XLR thru jack is included on the rear panel for passing on a signal to an external amplifier, speaker, sound system, or another B205D. The 3-band EQ and master volume controls let you sculpt the ideal mix, while the integrated limiter protects your ears and your speaker from damage. Built with a tough driver and durable enclosure, this compact and portable PA can survive the test of time and includes a convenient top-mounted carry handle for easy transport.
Potent Class-D Amp
Thanks to Behringer's revolutionary Class-D amplifier technology and internal switching-mode power supplies, not only does the B205D sound incredible, but it weighs considerably less than most competing active loudspeakers.
You can link additional active loudspeaker systems via the handy XLR thru socket. The built-in 3-channel mixer accepts XLR, 1/4" TRS, and RCA inputs, plus channel 1 features a switchable instrument-ready inputno DI required. A dedicated 3-band EQ (Low/Mid/High) provides simple, yet effective tonal control.
Put the Sound Where You Want It
Space limitations often make it impossible to place full-sized monitor wedges where they can do the most good, and passive monitors require lots of external amplifiers and processing gear to function properly. All this adds up to even more gear to move, and if you don't know what you're doing, you can easily damage passive monitors by applying too muchor worse, too little power to them.
With the B205D, Behringer has taken all the guesswork out, giving each loudspeaker its own 150W Class-D amplifier specifically designed as the perfect mate for the custom-engineered 5.25" neodymium driver.
