The Sound Town CARME-18SPW packs concert-quality sound into a compact-size, lightweight and easy to use active PA subwoofer. Its powerful and efficient class D amplifier pumps up to 1600 watts through a high-quality transducer featuring a die-cast aluminum frame, 4 voice coil and a massive 145oz magnet, providing punchy bass and earthshaking output. It handles 800W continuous and 1600W peak output and reproduces low frequencies all the way down to 35Hz. The CARME-18SPW comes with built-in Digital Signal Processor (DSP). It adds extended low-end frequency response to enhance your performance. With dynamic bass enhancement, RMS dynamic processor, 2nd order IIR filter, and 4 digital EQ presets, allow precise customization of your audio and provide more control over your sound. Its rugged birch plywood enclosure damps out unwanted distortion even at extreme output levels and endures the rigors of touring.

Its 2 XLR-1/4 combo and 2 XLR (through or HPF switchable) outputs make it easy to integrate into your PA system. It also features a standard pole-socket so you can mount a main speaker on the top.
